Our Story

Hops and Vine Tapas Bar is located in the Hub complex on Opal Street, Emerald.  Opening in October 2020, Hops and Vine Tapas Bar is a sleek, modern bar and restaurant, that is perfect for any occasion or celebration. A relaxed dining experience with a high class feel, that gives our customers an excuse to dress up and treat themselves. We are focused on trying to offer Emerald something outside the norm, concentrating on, simple but tasty tapas style meals, craft beers, delicious cocktails, and local and international wines and champagnes.

Looking for an awesome place to have your next big event, Hops and Vine Tapas Bar can do it all - Birthday parties, baby showers, charity events, Christmas parties, engagement parties.

TOP DECK

This area is our most requested for larger groups, it’s amongst the rest of the bar and restaurant but also a bit private so you won’t have guests from other groups walking through your area.

BOTTOM DECK

The bottom deck is the closest section to the bar, however not quite a private as the other areas, there is a main thoroughfare the section.

BEERGARDEN

The Beergarden is the smallest but also the most private area in the venue, perfect for smaller functions, with access to a tv and your own music.

Though a recent addition to Central Queensland cuisine and dining, Hops and Vine is not lacking in charm and polish. The friendliest of staff and easiest of atmosphere. My dining experience, though outdoor was warm and inviting, entertainment provided by way of music and sporting events on television only enhanced the enjoyment of the evening. The brisket was above exceptional, the ribs harped back to the cooking of my Oma and her traditional dishes, taking me back 25 years in time to when I was just a boy. The cocktails were a simplistic take on perfection and I can not stop short of mentioning an exceptional wine list. I can not more highly recommend my dining experience here at Hops and Vine. A must dine experience in Emerald.

Awesome venue, the food is fantastic, taco's and donuts are a stand out and it has the service to match. The cocktail menu is great with plenty of options. Hops and Vines would suit inner Sydney or Melbourne so to have a place in Emerald is amazing.

Beautiful new venue in the heart of Emerald. Great service, menu was delightful and the quality of the food was spot on. Staff were attentive and friendly; while there's no table service, ordering was easy and efficient (they take amex!). Have to come back to try the dessert.
